Unfreedom Is The Default, Not Liberty
“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty” is a quote that deserves close observance, especially in these days of heightened sensitivities. Mercifully, Berkeley has finally seen the light after three previous visits by Milo, Horowitz and Coulter were stopped. Thankfully there are campus groups like FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights in Education) affirming that “freedom to speak also means the freedom to hear”.
